Tech Day- 81 Bj42 clutch replacement (Abbotsford)

UPDATE

CHANGE IN LOCATION. Yard owner won't allow us to work on the truck where it sits.

Scott is looking to trailer the truck somewhere before Saturday.

Anyone willing or able to help him out? Scott has a replacement flywheel that he is getting machined this week, so we 'should' be done in a day.
Unfortunately, I don't have the space at my place or a trailer to tow him.

I don't have a trailer but you can bring it to my place. We can do the work here.

I got the OK to do it at my place, also, which is closer to where he is now. Scott is looking into transportation now.

I'll post up when I know for sure what is happening.

Great day on the wrenches! Kim, Jeremy, Scott and I learned a lot, tried to remember a little, and joked around a heck of a lot!!!

clutch done, but the starter is still pooched, so we'll have to fix that another day soon.

Hahaha! hammering a hammer, nice. I think the next raffle prize needs to be a bearing and sleeve install kit

And maybe a bearing puller kit as well

So, we got Scott on his way today; after the starter rebuild. Thanks to Jim's Auto-Electric here in Abbotsford.

How much did they charge for a rebuild?? I have a spare that I'd like to get done

Depends what is needed. My rebuild came out to $132, Scott's was $160.
