Trying to finish up a TBI installation (after a hiatus from cruiserheaddom). 2 questions:

1) I have a wire from the computer that is labeled "Crank fuse" in the schematic I'm using ('93 Caprice repair manual). I assume this should be a fused circuit that is hot only during cranking?

2) Anybody have any ideas about where to find small dash panel warning lights, maybe with labels or icons? I wouldn't mind using the circuits for "low oil level" and "low oil pressure" and I still need a light for "SES". Just wanted something a little more elegant than a light bulb taped to the bottom edge of the dash. What did you use for these warning lights?

TIA,
theo

Is the crank fuse wire purple?

If it is, or if it goes to terminal C9, it is a crank signal. You can take it off of the ignition switch or off of the starter. It probably should be fused.
