joined the forum a few weeks back, thought I should introduce myself & my 80.
Big thankyou to this forum, the info shared by many is awesome, especially in Resources.
I've recently tackled front rotor, all brake pads & 6 flexible brake lines replacement.
Changed the clutch fluid.
Just received all the parts needed for a valve cover gasket replacement, gaskets, seals, hoses, PCV & spark plugs from Amayama. So that's coming up soon to stop the valve cover leak. Will do a scheduled coolant refresh at the same time.
Here is a pic of the Cruiser, it's a '96 GXL station wagon FZJ80R 4.5L 1FZ-FE DOHC.
Has 300,000 km on the clock, I've owned it for 18 years. Mostly used for towing for firewood collection & horse transport. Still has original paint, man this white OEM paint holds it's age well.
Stock except the obvious additions in the pic & it has a dual battery setup for the winch as well.
Commuter is the wife's Hilux, '07 Hilux Dual Cab Ute GGN25R 4.0L 1GR-FE DOHC
