Great point. Now that i'm selling real estate, my truck is almost too big, almost. People, especially older folks often have a tough time getting up into mine. I'm thinking about getting another 80 for showing property and keeping it stock with running boards. Better gas mileage, less stress on drivetrain, no worries of driveline vibrations, better braking, better overall perfromance.

I've found that people are more curios to ride my LC simply because it's higher. The added height also helps people look out and about as against looking up in a car.

Unfortunately, there truly is a problem with women and skirts when clambering up and into a lifted LC.

Hoser,

That link to the Tall & Skinny tires is a great read. Very interesting theories.

MPG wise, I remember participating in research at the GM Proving grounds that showed the Cadillac Allante lost between .5 and 1.0 MPG on the EPA test loop simply by fitting 225 tires vs 215s. So it is worth considering as that's a significant MPG change on the Cruiser considering it gets only 15 ish to start with.

Thanks for the pics,

I like the 215s on that 40.

What brand are the ones on the 80 (36x10.5x16)? looks good too but I would go skinnier than that... is that a 4 in lift to get the 36s in?

The white cruiser is the other picture that someone was asking is a troopie (75 series)
