It’s cheap Chinese trash through and through but is still an upgrade on the outdated GX stereo interface.

Nowhere did sound quality come into play, but it sounded ‘meh’ before and after installing.

Functionality is trash, resolution is trash, build and components are trash trash trash. Exactly what I was expecting. Still better than not having carplay at all. Still better than a glaring, hideous Tesla screen. Still would buy this trash again even for $700.

This pretty much echos my sentiment 100%. Gotta deal with trash if you want carplay.

Anyone seen one of these? Euro Active Retrofits. says it's for LC 100s, but I'm wondering if it's non-US spec...

That's for a 100 series. All of them are Chineseium back-engineered - my PX6 is still doing just fine. If you want to take a gamble on it, go for it!

One possible problem is that you'll need to get a canbus box that works for your GX as well as for this android headunit. It's best buy the headunit and canbus box as a set that's been verified by the seller otherwise you might need to try a few canbus boxes. I learned this the hard way. I ended up buying a Teyes CC3 2k and this works well. However, if I were to do it again, I'd go with the lower spec option and skip the 2k "upgrade". The reason for this is the map detail gets too small at the 2k rez
