This is for reference I guess.
I needed a new switch on the transfer case: it makes the 4WD dash light come on, meaning front drive is engaged.
I was not sure which was which since Toyota refers to the switches on the t-case only as No. 1, 2 and 3.
I bought all three and now know that Transfer Control Switch #1 is the one I needed.
This is for my BJ74 with h55f and split t-case.
In this pic, Switches 1 and 2 are identical Except #2 has only 1 wire; it grounds through its own casing.
Switch 3 is smaller and has a different kind of plunger.

In another thread of mine, Airheadnut posted this pic. I believe he has a Prado.
other t-case thread
The low range switch should energize a relay that activates the VSV that engages the front drive (I think).
I am not sure what the neutral switch is for.
