Looking for the best option for a winch bumper on a 1996 4x4 t-100. I know some people have modified ARB bumpers from Land Cruisers and I see online that there are some kits that require you to weld them together. Anyone have advice on what has worked or has not worked well for them? I cannot weld/ fabricate, but have resources that can. This is a pretty beat up truck, so it doesn't have to be show quality, just functional. Thanks

I've never looked for anything for a T100 so I don't know what's out there. Would a first gen Tacoma be a close fit? Maybe Marlin Crawler or Trail gear have something that might work.

There are places like Barnes and RuffStuff that sell bumper fabrication parts. RuffStuff Specialties has a Christmas sale going for bumper fab parts right now. Maybe you can see what they have and get an idea.

What winch are you planning on running? If you get a universal winch mounting plate bolted or welding securely to your frame, you can build off it.

Good luck with it. Please follow up with your solution.

We have not settled on a winch. Thanks for the information. I would assume the Tacoma bumpers would be too narrow but the T-100 is only about an inch wider, so maybe?

NW Trail Innovations show that they have a front bumper weld kit for a winch. Nice looking rear steal bumper kit too. I've not bought from them and have no personal experience.

Tacoma body is alot more narrow, not saying it wont work.
