Dyneema is the material.....that would be the right stuff as long as used with winching not as a tug em out type of rope ;)

"currently unavailable"

Yeah, there was a bunch available, then all of a sudden it's gone. Typical Amazon.

Now I live in the north, so we get higher prices.
I found on Amazon.ca
Ranger 3/8" x 100' UHMWPE Synthetic winch rope rated at 20,500lbs but it's $154 Can $

https://www.amazon.ca/Ranger-Durable-UHMWPE-Synthetic-Protective/dp/B074J1S8NQ/?tag=ihco03-20

On Amazon.ca they advertise right along with Warn so wondering if it's the same rope different
name that Warn actually sells. Now what does UHMWPE stand for??

Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene - seems to be synonymous with Dyneema.

Woodsman44, I don't jerk my winch. Snatch strap is a different animal, not what I'm looking for.
It's amazing how short a distance 125' can be, even in a forest.

Good to here!!

I agree, 125ft cant always get you to nearest tree or a secure object....Im looking for 150ft 3/8's as an extra winch line for them long pulls to add to my 100ft rope thats on my 8274 ...250ft will be a blessing if needed ;)

Seem to be finding some dealers around here now. Found one company in Edmonton with
100' double eyed lines, just what I'm looking for. So email sent.

I will be curious to see
what the local prices will be. I didn't realize that Compressor Winch weighed so much, so maybe
replacing the wire with synthetic over the next year.
