swb/lwb cabs the same?

Are long wheelbase and short wheelbase cabs the same? mostly wondering about the body mounts . Also wondering about the differences between lv and swb frames . I picked up a pretty nice 45 frame the other day and don't know if it is a lv or a swb frame . My thoughts are to take my lwb 45 (which has a bad frame) and transplant it onto the swb/lv frame .It is not stock and it would be very hard to put it back to stock for all you purists out there . I figured I'd sell the lwb box and gate (which is already bobbed but still pretty nice) and put the cash towards an aluminium swb box and gate from aqualu. any thoughts ?
