I posted my problem in the diesel subforum but without any luck. I believe it is a more general problem which needs to be faced during all types of engine swaps why I think it justifies a post here.
Update: Swap Compatibility L, 2L, 3L, 5L?
Background info:
I have a L diesel engine (2,2 litre) and want to install a more powerful 3L diesel engine (2,8 litre) and everything fits except for the flywheel thickness which is likely to result in throw out bearing problems.
Maybe somebody here has an idea on what to do (because this forum is more active)?
