looking for some suggestions to fix my rear defroster on my 1997 suzuki sidekick 4dr. it has an electric defroster ,little bars running across the window.
and my kid has ripped the one wire off on the one side .when i hold it in place it works ..question is how to attach it back on .hot glue didn't work .it heated the glue up.i tried soldering it but the solder wouldn't stick at all .might of been operator error. anybody have any other ideas or am i SOL.

Harris 56% silver solder.....but i would be terrified of busting the glass with any torch heat

So you may be able to heat the stick and let the solder fall on the spot you want to fix(insert shrug) just make sure you get the spot really clean

Head down to your local NAPA. They have a repair kit that works well for putting the lines back on the glass. You can also check out these guys...
