cruiser..no doubt about it.

it'll be 81 degrees there tomorrow thru friday...pass out in the warm sand.

Exhausted from Mojave road.. had an 8 hour commute into the office yesterday :D

Anyhow.. need to catch up here, unload all the support gear and re-load lighter for SNT.

Looking forward to just sitting on the beach and starring into the ocean after all this go-go-go.

Whew! Logged on and saw last post from you on this thread and thought you were backing out!:clap::flipoff2:

Glad you're going to hunker down and come. Weather forecast is sunny the entire weekend. Thursday around 80 and Friday-Sunday in the mid 60's. Some low fog evening and early morning, but that's to be expected on the coast.

Oh got do I understand that as a fellow bean counter!!!

Recent job move within the company has gotten me out of that rat race for the first time in 29 years!!!

Hope you can pull it off!!!!

At least we live in the age of the internet and I don't have to carry a ledger book around with me.

Good for you on getting out of the month end circus!

Hey, Hey - I resembled that first remark. I DO remember using green column workpapers! I also remember the first IBM 8086 PC's and the very first Compaq 'portable' computer that weighed a ton the size of a large sewing machine, 5 1/4 and 3 1/2 floppies and when you measured things in KB, not MB or GB! God I'm getting to be an old fart!

Glad you are at least going to be able to have a little fun! First few times I went to SnT I drove up at 0 dark hundred on a Saturday morning and home Sunday during closing! Last couple of years this first weekend that Jim holds this have fallen much better on the close calendar, since we had to close in 2 1/2 days!

Only two more days in the office before we hit the road for SNT. Hope to meet some new people and see some familiar faces. Drinking Blue Moon under the sun with the sound of waves and cruisers everywhere. Paradise? We can't wait...see you all there.

Your not old yet . . .
I mean, 8086 systems were leading edge 16-bit platforms. When you can remember using CP/M (which IMHO was a much better OS than DOS) on the 8080 and Z80 processors using single sided 5.25" or 8" disks on the MITS Altair then you might. I was just a kid when I learned on these and, I'm afraid to admit, punch tape.

If this swell holds out until the weekend, they're gonna have to rename it OMG OMG SURF and Turf.

It's currently 9'-13' mixed NW/WNW/SW, with a forecast of 7'-10' tomorrow. Clean conditions throughout.

You'll have to pardon my boner.

Do 80 column punch cards count too? Used lots of those in a cobol programming class in college.

I am leaving work early tomorrow to try and make an afternoon session on the way up to SnT. I hope this holds through the weekend!:bounce::bounce2:

Man you guys are Old! They only showed us that stuff in college as a history lesson. :D J/K

Not old, just well educated. There's an old Aboriginal proverb "The more you know, the less you need." :grinpimp:

For anyone that wants Roo's we've made it easy to find us.. just keep an eye out for the Kangaroo crossing sign in the sand :D

Reports say it supposed to taper from Friday through the weekend but still good conditions.

Are you all planning any sessions throughout the weekend? Ive never been out down there so not sure exactly where to go? Planning to bring the Longboard or the HP fish... or should I bring both?

I plan on surfing every day if there is good surf or even if it is mediocre I'll go out. I'm bringing two boards a 9' longboard and a 7'6" pintail.

I've never surfed Pismo but am meeting a buddy who has and knows the area. From my understanding it is one big beach break.

If want to go out shoot me a PM and I'll give you my cell.
