They hooked it but it got away. Still sitting in there and sounds like the lake is a real mess. The post mentioned diesel on the water. Unless it was one of the newer diesel jeeps with the Mercedes diesel, then we know this could be a 40 mistaken for a jeep.

That really sucks. Sounds like the slick is spread far beyond easy cleanup with oil booms and sorbent pads. The original fishing post mentioned the truck was a wagoneer and went on to say 'pull it out it has good wheels and tires'. Strange the guy could see that on a truck that was submerged 15 to 25 feet.
