connections. Look at them all. You might have a chaff spot or corrosion at the screws. But the probe could be going south.
 
Well, I checked the wires in the engine compartment and the wires behind the gauges, but not yet under the dash. All looks good. It was showing normal again. I did pull off the wires at the back of the gauge and hook them back up again just incase there was any little bit of corosion, even though I did not see any. Went on a 450km road trip today, about 85% was hills with some long grades thrown in for fun, with elevation changes from around 400ft to 1400ft. About half of the road was gravel. Going out with 10-12psi boost I never went over 500F, that's with the probe about 3" below turbo. With downhills and level ground the egt's where at 380-400F. Coming back with a headwind component sometimes the max egt's I saw was 600F. I drove average of 57mph and got 21.1mpg. Anyway, we will see if the egts drop again or not.
