First - To the OP, let me say Bravo for using the stock location. It's always nice to be able to use the original location and gain some quality.

Second - Are all of you people who use the factory head unit insane???? It's total garbage. No really it's bad. It's so easy to change it out to something better.

I'd switch out in a heartbeat, find me one for a 03+, I'll be holding my breath over here.........

Well if I owned an 03+ I would have already done it. I did a bunch of prelim work on finding the JDM climate controller and associated wiring but When I picked up the 2000 I dropped it. It can be done - nobody wants to spend the 3k to do it.

In that case I would just do the Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty.
