Zero LX options for rear subwoofer unless you convert to 80 series free air space sub..... wasn't happy with the cheezy LX center console one..lol..... so I just built my own
I went with the JL audio 6 1/2" 6W3V3-4 woofer, mini sub
I wasn't looking for "neighbors knocking on your door" bass, just needed to add bass to the mix to round it out...and this Lil' squirt did exactly that.
Because of very tight location and limited space I used 1/2" MDF recommended by JL audio for 6 1/2" sub which gave me room to make a 14"x 10"x 4.5" depth sealed box with a 0.25 cf....it just sqeaked in there. Speaker depth is 4.25" so added a spacer.
Added a 150w 4ohm amp under seat and ran wires under carpet and console.
Didnt sand box but used some stain and urethane for moisture control....won't be seen behind panel.
