Is there a fuse specifically for the sub-woofer?
I replaced the speaker a couple months ago and all was good but now it (only) has stopped working and everything else is fine (radio, tape, CD, other speakers).
Checked all the "audio" fuses and they were not blown.
Any ideas?

No fuse for sub afaik, it's powered by the amp under the passenger seat. If no sound, then the sub itself is probably dead

replaced it with a Madisound unit so don't think it is a bad sub, maddening :-(

Lost an amp channel is my guess. Did you get a similar impedance sub? If not... you can blame yourself

Put in this one recommended on this board and pretty much a drop-in replacement, 8ohm impedance:

How would you troubleshoot?
Thanks!
Greg

Are you getting current at the terminals at the sub? That's the first place I'd look. If not, probably a dead channel but I'd next check wiring to make sure nothing came loose or got crossed. If dead channel, I have an amp I'll sell you for cheap. It's for an LC though. I don't remember what the impedance of the stock sub is but as said above, if it's way off 8ohms then a blown channel is a distinct possibility. I did read that the ML system in the LX is different than the JBL in the LC so make sure you get your numbers correct.
