Stuttering and stalling..HELP

Ok guys really need some help. I have a 92 toyota pick up 22re. Last few weeks a problem started. I will start the truck and it will start stuttering then stall out, but if I keep it at about 2000 rmp it will stay running. So I have to start it and push down on the gas right away and keep it a 2000 rmp. As soon as I let off it stalls right out. I have checked / changed alternator, checked the distributer spark plugs wires air filter and I am at a loss. So any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Fuel filter might be an issue. Timing? any CEL showing up?

No CEL showing up. Just stutter and stall as soon as I left off the gas. I am going to try replacing the fuel filter today and see what that gets me

Have you checked the ECU for any codes?

Have you checked the TPS?

I have not checked the ECU yet and I have a TPS on the shelf was going to do both of them tonight when I do the fuel filter.

Check your dashpot to make sure it's slowly closing your throttle plate and not allowing it to close abruptly.

Ok guys I feel like a retard. I figured out the problem. Intake had a large hole in it. Where the intake pipe was metal so I thought that was fine and didn't check it. Well I pulled the whole intake tube and pipes off and found it had dropped down and the pulley had worn a hole right though the metal intake tube of the cold air intake. I feel like an idiot for not checking the metal cold air intake tube. Thanks for all your help. Now I just need to make something so it don't happen again
