Stuck in the Mud!

Had an absolute blast on the trail today, It was awesome getting together and sharing rides with the guys! After Dan and I turned out of the canyon to head on out here's what happened, oops, I didn't think the hole was that damn deep! Thanks for the rescue and here's to you! Forgot to mention, I got lots of pictures, will post in another thread...

I dug it a little deeper for ya.... I have to admit you did a better job, albeit not by much, of sinking your rig than I did in the same spot! Thank God for my winch & Jack's helping hand or I'd still be there!

we probably would of camped there if it wasn't for the winch on Rusty, we he first hooked up, and started it tried to pull him in, but with a little changing of positioning he got it pulled out and we were back on our way, with Dan driving of course, I was voted out of the drivers seat... Hee hee hee.

Well if it wasnt for ham radio we wouldnt have gotten help Via Rusty and Shawn and we would have been going it alone. I think i could have gotten it out but it would have taken most of the day and well into the night to accomplish it. So WOOT for the Geekness its saved the day and along night and alotta work of being stuck in the nevada mountains hehe

I still can't get over the fact that we heard Dan's call on the 2m. We were down in a serious gully. It really showed how good those radios are. I've got to put one the 60 next.
