Stuck Dipstick

To clarify:
Now- back to imporant questions: How DID the dipstick bend in the first place? I've been wondering that myself.

It was the Fawkin' kid at the oil store!

but, even if it was the kid, how on earth did someone actually bend the dipstick? I mean, is is a pretty simple process!

If it isn't bent...and you are going to change the oil. Spray some brake cleaner down the tube. It will dislodge any oil/debris sticking in the tube. Works for sticky lifters to when trying to remove them.
