I'm new to Ih8mud, but I'm very happy to finally find such great place for discussing Toyota issues.
I have a 1992 80 series Land cruiser and I'm trying hard in the last few weeks to fix all the problems she has, but unfortunately we don't have good mechanics around so many of my questions are unanswered!
For now I am confused about a strange noise when the car is idle. This noise is very easy to hear when I let go of the clutch.
This noise is like a constant clicking or something of that sort.
Someone told me that it can be a problem related to my Clutch Bearing and another friend suggested it is a gearbox problem. I can go with these suggestion but as you know bringing down the gearbox is a costly and more importantly a risky job because I might not be able to find all the needed spare parts in it!
So if anyone has had the similar problem, I's appreciate if you share the knowledge. Thank you.
