So,
While driving at dusk earlier this week my automatic headlights kicked on as usual. In the same instant the dash and all lights turned off, there was a mechanical clunk (could have been a quick pulse from brakes, it was instant on/off) from the drive line and then wound up with the dash lit up (photo attached). Not sure I've ever heard of this particular issue before. Do we think it could have been a bad ground somewhere? The auto headlights causing all this is extremely confusing.
ABS module was replaced with a new unit about 3 years ago at a Lexus dealer, so hoping to cross that off the list. Disconnected the battery for about an hour and lights sadly didn't go away.
Has anyone ever seen a link/issue between the headlights and ABS system?
