I never even noticed that. Was too noisy where I was so I had the phone pressed to my ear and couldn't see the screen.

Yeah, that is a 2F. My dad’s old FJ40 has sat for 8 years in the mountains. We’re in Denver for the holidays and were able to get it running, so that’s the solution to my broken 80.

Yeah, the interesting part will be driving it 700 miles on 38” swampers (found ‘em on craig’s for cheap) with factory gears.

I’ll post pictures of the inside of the 1FZ-FE when it gets torn apart this summer, for those who are curious.
