I was interested in ordering a set of 20 series wheels in the 16". I am trying to keep the stock appearance, while improving my tire size options. Does anyone know what back spacing I should use for this?

Thanks

Depends on what width wheel you want to run with. For 8" rims, I'd go with 2.5-3" backspacing to widen the stance a bit for offroad. With 10" rims, you might want to make that 3-3.5".

Did they confirm that you can get them for a Land Cruiser? It doesn't list Toyota. I got a quote for type 20's with a custom backspacing about 3 months ago (without saying it was for a Cruiser) and they were $90 each or so, with 6 week lead times. Since I needed at least six, it added up quick!

LC's are the same pattern as GM 1/2 ton, hard to get more common than that.

Same bolt pattern, but not the same hub diameter, many a Cruiserhead has found this out the wrong way, and I know more than a few people that have had to machine out Chevy wheels to fit the Toyota hub.

Stockton is not cheap, that's why I suggest *triple* checking before placing an order, especially considering the turnaround time.

Thanks...I ASSumed that the GM rim would work. I ll ask them about machining out the hub hole.

Price is not cheap:

16x7's = $105.00 each.
Powdercoat(factory Gray) = $55.00 each
Ship 5 wheels = $110.00.

Anyone know of a cheaper place?
