Stock steely tire sizes

Merry Christmas! I need to buy some used tires and need options for my stock wheels and suspension (I'm sure with sag) for my 78. I'm looking for mud/snow or aggressive all terrain. I've read 31 10.5 15 and 33 9.5 15s are good. Are there other options (metric) that are safe bets?

Your saggy suspension will be the determining factor. You can fit 33" x 9.5 or 10.5 15's on a stock 55. If your springs are shot, you may need to limit your tires to 31" or less.
