Regular place is Sportsman's grill, but anywhere is good for me. What about a brewery, like Blackstone on west end or Jackalope on 8th avenue? Really doesn't matter, as long as it's able to be found by people... How about that thursday, September 5?

I had mentioned to someone else that a microbrewery would be cool. First Thursday of the month is out for me, I have a client who has their regular council meeting that night. Don't plan around me, but if that is the day, I am out.

We usually meet the first Tuesday in Chattanooga. We were meeting the third Tuesday in Nashville when we had interest. I would like to meet with you all.

I could do that I think. If anyone is interested we could do a dry run next Thursday (the ever elusive 5th Thursday) at Blackstone if you guys want. Then aim for the third Thursday from then on.

Jynx, as per our other conversation the answer is yes. They've got a bar, seating area, and even a private room. Great atmosphere and a decent parking lot for showing off trucks.

EDIT: Scenery is usually pretty decent too!!!

wish I could make it but Jasons right. Its a little out of my way right now. I do have a vested interest in Jackelope, but besides that it really is a good hangout! Im very interested in regular meets once I get back though. Im gonna follow this thread till then and see if Nashville can get something started.

I am trying to verify if Jackalope is just a bar or if they have food.... Does that matter to folks? What about 6:30? Place to be verified pending availability of food..

Looks like Jackalope doesn't serve food so I think we may need to look elsewhere for dinner and a brew. Here are a couple options:

M.L. Rose on Franklin pike, just a bit south of zany's
Blackstone on west end
Boscoe's on 21st ave.
