Still in production?

I saw two mint-condition cab & chassis 70 series P/Us @ my Toyota dealer last year.
Are the 70 series still in production? If not, when were they last made?

The 7x series landcruiser is absolutlely still in production. They are available new in Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, South America, Australia..... Seems like you can get a new one everywhere else except north America.
They are sold here new, but not to the public. They are utilized (new) for the mining industry.

Its unfortunate however outside of the "Cruiser enthusiast group" most Americans would rather have a 4 door Tacoma or the behemoth Tundra. Its also the reason the modern Land Cruiser sold in the U.S. has turned into the 12mpg "school bus" instead of the relatively fuel efficient model sold throughout the world.

Thanks for the feedback.
I suspected that the 2 that I saw were heading to a mine somewhere. The price of them likely would keep them way above the affordablity level of most individuals. Anyone know the price of one? I guess a poor boy like me will have to settle for a JDM import.
