I like the body cart you made
I was really surprised by how heavy it was/and the weight of the body shell. It was a bit scary...

I guess I should not have been surprised with a nickname like Iron Pig...

Hopefully the media blaster appreciates not having to muscle it around either...

you need one of these too!

How is it coming?[/QUOTE]

Slow going... Received the axles back from the powder coater and ordered the bearing/seal kits to re-assemble and reinstall the 3rd members.

Located some "L-Brackets" to go with the crossmember that @Saddletramp generously provided. Getting ready to do some trimming and then install. Once that is done the frame will go to the sandblast/powder coat shop. Motor will also head out to Gruelich to start the cleaning/measuring.

Body is waiting patiently for me to figure out what to do with it next. Plenty to do, not enough time. Planning to spend a few days between x-mas and New Years working on it!

Mine was prescribed therapy, although the cure is now worse than the original ailment. Landcruisers make us all lose our perspective about what is reasonable. Even restoring a 55 is cool when you are as sick as Mike and I, thank goodness I'm sitting this one on the sidelines.

Get better soon Mike.

Let me get something straight... He offered $5,000 for a rubber mat but used Warn locking hubs? :D

Currently finishing up the FJ60 crossmember for the H55F. Had to trim up the crossmember and brackets including welding closed a few bolt holes that needed to be relocated. Just needs a second look by @Saddletramp and I will finish weld it in-place. Then the frame goes out for sandblast & powdercoat.

Just 11 more steps to go:)

Thanks to @Saddletramp for coming by today to give my work a 2nd look. Also thanks for helping me straighten out my DS running board (aka Factory Slider) on the green 80 and for helping to pull the 2F and position the frame for welding/grinding.

PS side done. DS tomorrow...
