Is there a difference between a 1973 F with the 3 speed, and an ‘84 2F with a 4 speed? I know the flywheels are different, so thinking the starters are as well.

I thought the only difference in the flywheels was the step cut and the resulting extra weight of the 3-speed, not the diameter or tooth count.
