YOU could take it up to NAPA and ask'em. They will surely try to sell you a new starter butif you make it clear that you want to fix it then you may be able to find the part. I guess though that something caused that uneven wear. why didn' the otehr side wear the same? Perhaps the copper thing that wore out was on the bottom and the weight of the shaft spinning was constantly on it. maybe the roller bearings are bad. I would buy a new denso ad never think about it again. Maybe tinker with this one if you have extra time but get your rig running in the short run. 2cents.
