Starter Connector Removal

Alright...not seeing any tips or tricks from search or FSM and I don't want to break the connector getting frustrated. Is there a trick for releasing the connector? Been trying to wiggle and pull for a hour...no luck!

There is a tab you have to push down or pry up, I can't remember. A small screw driver to help direct the force can help iirc.
