Anyone have a fix for a squeaky horn contact under the steering wheel? In the past a dab of dialectic grease always fixed it. But I have done that and it didnt help this time. I am thinking maybe the ring or contact is worn.are those parts replaceable or is there a way to fix this?

To reply to my own thread...maybe it's the HG?

What year? If it is '94 or below, you probably just need to take off the steering wheel, replace the brass contact pin, and grease it up. If it is 95-97 it has a clockspring, which is expensive to replace.

For '94 and below, new contact pin is 84312-12040 and here is some info on the procedure:

That is perfect, just ordered one. Love when things are simple and cheap.
