SILVER Star
Hello Everyone,
I hope we're all getting our trailer projects done since we're stuck at home.
Can someone enlighten me on how to remove these spots on my Adrenaline alum bodied trailer? This trailer lived in Montrose, CO which I think uses Magnesium Chloride during the winter months on their roads and I think that is the cause of these spots but this is a WAG on my part.
These spots are all over the trailer. Even the two stainless steel latches on the tongue box are corroded to some degree. Just for giggles, I tried using rubbing compound but didn't really help. I want to be careful with whatever agent I use to not damage the alum so I'm reaching out to someone with more experience with Alum material. The top left panel is rubbing compound, the right side is how it sits now.
Thanks for any inputs.
