Split T-case support.

Hi, I mounted a FJ60 drive train in our pig. I have the transmission support brackets that came with it, but if I mounted that it would only be about 4" behind the rear motor mounts. Do y'all think It needs the support? Thanks

So, you're swapping in the whole thing, motor, trans, axles, etc. I'd rather have the rear mount on the transmission than the bellhousing. I'm not a 60 guy, but thought they eliminated the rear bellhousing mount in favor of the trans mount.

I ran a split case in my 74 without a crossmember. It simply hung off the factory bellhousing and never had any issues.

X3 on splitcase/H42 haging off the bellhousing mounts. I did mount the fj60ish trans mount, but never installed the bushing. it is FINE...run it.
