split bench seats upgrade ?

My woman and I were out yesterday enjoying the 45 and getting a few thumbs ups. : )
When cornering she she said she slides all over the place which got me thinking of the seats.
They are vinyl and slippery ! Not wanting to remove them and put in buckets would detract from its beauty, so either finding a seat cover that fits the split bench or getting them re-upholstered with additional cushioning is a thought !
Has anyone done one of these things ? or know of a company that modernizes the retro split bench for comfort ?

After banging our heads around for many miles I just stored my bench seat and installed some buckets out of an xterra . Really nice and I put in a tuffy box with cup holders imagine that , I can put the bench back in in about an hour if I want . just saying

Cloth or tweed are both nice, breathable, and easier on the skin in the summer than vinyl. My seats in the lwb already had a tweed insert in them when I got them from poor boy pulling.
