Hello and welcome.

Does the truck only do it when accelaraitng? Or alaways?
How does it idle?

It could be the fuel filter.
I am guessing you are in Canada?
If so I would try ordering one from Toyota or getting one here:
http://store.4wheelauto.com/view_product.php?product=3620703

Its pretty cheap and might solve your problem (its good to do anyways)
I would also go to a local diesel shop (Finning, Kenworth or lordco if need be) and get some good diesel fuel injector cleaner/ fuel system lube). I would recommend "Stanadyne" if you can get it.

See if that fixes the problem.
I would try to start cheap and work your way up.
Others on the board might have better ideas.

Cheers,
Nick

BTW: If it is air in the line you might need to reprime the fuel system.
It is very easy.

On the drivers side of the engine you will see the injection pump.
There is a round pump attached to it.
It looks like a cap about 1.5" round.
You will need to unscrew so it to pump (goes in and out to pump)
Then above that is the fuel filter and on the side of that is a bleeder valve.
Loosen it off a little and start to pump it until a steady stream disel shoots out (try and catch the diesel in a container)
Then tighten the bleeder back up and and tighten the pump back up.

This is how you reprime the system. You will need to do this if you ever run the tank dry of get a air bubble in the line.

Cheers,
Nick

thanx
