Speedometer, what's interchangable?

Hey pig people. I need a new speedometer on my 1969 pig, and I don't care if it is an exact stock. After last Pismo we kept driving, speedometer stuck, and I tapped the glass too hard. Fist through speedo = dead speedo.

So here comes another Pismo so I need a speedometer for my road trip. My cable is fine, can I use any pig speedometer? I ask because I can only find late model ones.

Only two types that I know of, plug-in type and screw-in type...depending on the cable.

If your glass is busted? I have that from my busted speedo, also the pointer and even the gauge face.
