Spacer question for ComeUp 9.5 RS on an ARB (1 Viewer)

Hi y’all,

I’m trying like hell to get my new (thanks @cruiseroutfit!) @COMEUP Seal Gen2 to mount feet forward into my ARB. Figured out pretty quick I needed spacers and ordered up the oft recommended Rugged Ridge ones, but I’m not super comfortable with the amount of overlap they have from the winch ends (see photo taken from above)

Thoughts? The opening on the fair lead is narrower than the overhang, so maybe I’m overthinking things?

I would re-drill or trim them with a saw. Are they made of some sort of plastic?

No, they’re coated steel.
