Since the fire ban has been lifted, would it be possible for the caravan from ABQ to stop closer to Durango so we can pick up some wood?

You said wood...tee hee. Man I need to make some room!

Aaron I know you said something about checking out the Arkansas river up here. It is gorgeous. We are staying in Salida tonight and there is an "Arkansas Headwaters Rec Area" you may want to check out. We are staying in a kick ass old school hotel in Poncha Springs actually but went in to Salida for dinner. Awesome riverside food!

Finally

Sent from my iPhone using IH8MUD, and hopefully approved by the NSA.

Wow...you are way back there. Me and the boy have already swam in the pool, ate dinner, bowled a game and played some video games in the casino. Now it's bed time!

My final mileage numbers from my door to Ouray were pretty good.

My predicted distance was 1920, actual was 1915. That's a complete fluke because we really changed up the route adding Pikes Peak yesterday and Marshall Pass today. PP added miles but Marshall reduced miles, albeit Marshall was 10-30mph tops for 30+ miles.

Predicted fuel$ was $480 and so far I'm at $517. I did pretty good on MPG estimates, maybe a little conservative but I was low on fuel costs. I had $3.50 as an average and I have got to be closer to $3.80+.

MPG's so far are 14.8-14.9 consuming 129 gallons over 1915 miles. That's not bad again considering the addition of 2 low MPG runs yesterday and today.

This is with 35's, 4:88's bumper, skids, winch, family of four, luggage, yakima bukcet on top, fridge and AO drawers. No complaing here! I def think the 4:88's saved me some fuel BTW. No doubt I would've seen 2nd gear on many of my 3rd gear pulls.

OMG we are going to be in Colorado tonight!!!

Everybody up to have some breakfast
90% packed
New oil
New coolant
Tank full
Almost on our way!!!

Ntsaint and I were in the cabins by you last night. We at the toyota dealer now.

I thought I saw a couple sweet rides come in right as we were kicking it last night. Everybody taking all this time check out their rigs makes me nervous that I didn't really check that deep...ha! Nothing like driving halfway across the country in a 12 year old vehicle and only replacing the battery, wipers, and oil change. Either that's great engineering or stupidity on my part.
