I've used this gas Weber for many years and it's done a fine job on the trail.
yes, it's propane, but honestly, I think a small bottle or two are much easier to deal with on the trail than bags of charcoal.

Given that charcoal isn't allowed most of the summer in the Sierra gas is a good choice. I like my $40 Walmart grill.
I'm with you fellers. My grill looks pretty much just like the one in the picture would look if it had five years of use on it. It now gets a little cranky about starting sometimes (I probably just need to bend the piezo pin a little bit) but it warms up really quickly and it cooks pretty darn well.
