I got one for a friend as a XMas present.. Saw it on "Feasting on Asphalt".

Koolatron 12 Volt Portable Stove Heats baby Bottles, Soups, Stews and Pizza Slices in Minutes. Cooks hotdogs, Hamburgers, Rice, Grilled Sandwiches and leftovers just like you popped it in the oven at home. Koolatron's 12 Volt Stove is not just a leftover warmer, it is a real 12 Volt Oven capable of cooking food to 300 degrees.

Features of the Koolatron 12 Volt Portable Stove:

looks like the perfect toy for making cheesy potatoes while on the road...hhhmmmm

I saw it on Feastin on Asphalt as well. Been meaning to stop by a truck stop to grab one...

Do you have any idea of the draw on the battery?

How long will it last before the Chinese wiring shorts out and burns your rig to the ground?

Kidding...that's pretty cool.

Alton Brown loved it and bought one...He did a meatloaf in it and it turned out great.

My friend will use it while surf fishing. Even driving to camp out, you can have it cooking and have something ready.

Great movie, filmed in my home town, and that scene makes me laugh everytime I see it!

Looks like a cool little unit for camping, and for 29.00...its pretty cheap!

Hope he keeps the engine running - 120W is quite a draw. - a little more than leaving your high beams on with the engine not running.

49er Truck Stop Plaza - Silver Skillet

I've been eyeing one of those too.
We have a truck stop nearby. They make the best pancakes in Sacramento. And the best chicken fried steak for miles and miles around. Anyway, this portable stove was over $40. We thought we could buy it online for much less.

Regards

Alvaro
