Some one in vanvouver to do pre purchase inspection

I am wondering if any of you guys living here in greater vancouver have had pre purchase inspections done before buying a cruiser , i was thinking of asking steve tetu of extreme bends to look over the bj 60 for me i just want some one with more knoledge than i have to look it over because i dont want to drop 6 to 8 grand on a truck i plan on putting an other 5 or 6 grand into if there is somthing that i am missing , i have purchased and gotten some good advice from steve in the past has any one here dealt with him before ?

I've dealt with Steve some. He's a knowlegeable guy. I'd say a great choice for a pre-purchase.

I met Steve a month ago when I bought some manuals from him, very knowledgeable and a nice guy too.

I guess it would depend on what a "pre-purchase inspection" entails? Does it mean just paying someone to look at the rig and drive it around for a few minutes and offer you their opinion on it? I mean, looking at your sig line, you already own a BJ60, so you yourself have experience and are able to do the same thing...although the more opinions the better I suppose. Would you be able to pull that BJ60 into Steve's shop and have them do compression tests on it? If you are, then this would be a very useful piece of information.

Greg B. and Sheldon pretty much specialize in nothing but Toyota diesels at G&S Cruiserparts...but they are both quite busy and I don't know what their timelines are like to do an inspection. Other knowledgeable people in the area are: Rob Millson (Red Reefer on the board, LCI), Ciaran Wilson (CruiserLand), Cory Peters (Kodiak Custom), etc. Good luck with the purchase.
