Yesterday I got shifted from Cedar City to Albuquerque. So we flew at 25000' right over Powell Lake first and then by 'Valley of the Monuments' in S Utah. I've been through both areas by m/c and car, but very cool at a low enough altitude to see it all from a plane. Really wish I had a better hand held camera! :o
But the 2 million dollar camera in the back did get some neat pics for the office. :D

you had to know this was coming.

Nice! Was always my dream to be a pilot, but never happened, and I ended up in electronics instead. You must love your job some days; hopefully most days.

Funnay thing about his job, he rather fabricate than fly, he told me this over a few wobbly pops:beer:.....

Maybe Jon was having to much fun that day with metal...

I couldn't get home any faster, we left Albuquerque Sat am on another beautiful flight. Ironic, that on the flight to Calgary, non-stop direct I commented to my crew member, "there isn't a cloud in all of North America"....until of course I'm in YVR trying to get to Nanaimo last night!
I got pics over Yellowstone Park, and I could see the ice fog cloud streams made by Old Faithful from 30,000'! These are crap iphone pics, but I never take nature for granted.
Good to be home, sorry I missed yesterday.
