Solid Axle Steering Adjustment Q's

I was looking through my service books and really couldnt make out how to properly adjust my steering stops (bolts on the hub that keep it from turning but so far). It seems like my turning radius is a little big considering the size of my rig. Anyways whats the best way to adjust these to know that I am getting the tightest turning radius without putting anything into some sort of bind. Thanks!

Best way is to jack up the tire and lock the hub, and spin it while you adjust so you can feel when the birfield is binding.

That makes good sense. Once it starts to bind should one full turn in the opposite direction be good enough for clearance or should I back it out a little more just to make sure?

Yes, I would back it off a turn or 2 to be safe.
