Sold the 60...

Bummed I missed the Texas Creek trip, but had a ton of grading / planning to do now that we're nearing the end of the school year.

Did get some time Sunday to reorganize the garage, clean up some parts and spun the 60 around for easier engine compartment work.

Going to try to button her back up here soon.

Got sidetracked with the old motor mounts. They are gone now and I prettied up the engine bay a bit too. Here's a before and after for ya'.

Ahhhhh........ sidetracked again. Hate working on dirty parts so everything was soaked, scrubbed, and for the bigger parts, taken to the car wash for some power washing.

No, not yet. You had also mentioned flipping the mounts to raise engine a bit.

Thought I'd get the engine buttoned up and beg/bribe you to come down the mountain and give me a hand.

Well, took a break from the engine compartment today and did a bit of upholstery. Thanks again to Will ( @WhiteTiger911 ) for the replacement seat cover (actually the whole seat!).

As you can see, my original was a bit worn. Will and I have different years, so the pattern is a little different, but big deal. I'll probably cover them with some sheepskin anyway!

My 60's front and rear seats are like that-different pattern. Was likely the result of the same process by a PO. Sheepskin covers? Yeah, baby!

Those "new" seats look pretty good to me. I would skip the sheep skin and just run with those. TW's old car had sheepskin and it drove me crazy...waay too warm feeling for my taste.
