This is a second series gas tank below 1979 FJ43. LHD Colombian spec.
Truck is in insured container and outbound from Colombia. Seller is Volcan 4x4, LLC bonded Florida dealer. This is our 7th frame on restored FJ43.
This was a top of the market purchased FJ43 with straight body and nice shiny paint. Floors are straight and textured. Uknown ownership and miles other than we purchased from a Colombian businessman and FJ collector. Truck shows very clean underneath. We then spent 2 months overhauling the truck including extensive mechanical. The FJ43s especially hide a lot of deferred mechanical.
This truck has or received the following in January 2016:
2F engine 125 compression
good shifting H41 4.10 gears. did not change the clutch
runs 55 to 60 mph then top will flap
new Japanese non USA AISIN type carb
new spark plugs, cables, oil, grease, filters and coolant
4 Tokico shocks and a no name steering stablizer
265 series 32 inch Falken AT tires on alloy wheels. Will add a matching spare.
2.5 inch new exhaust from manifold back
roll hoop bar U shaped
all new vinyl interior and floor mats
new Pioneer stereo and hidden speakers
PS pump replaced above with a good used part
PS box below serviced with Kotek brand seals shows no drips after running 2 hours
radiator pulled and cleaned
new radiator fan
new radiator hoses
starter looks to be newer aftermarket gear reduction unit
battery is newer big international brand
all gauges and horn etc seem to be working
new waterpump Japanese brand
valve adjustment
new soft top and soft top metal bars painted body color
glass all new replaced non Toyota
all new weather stripping non Toyota
doors have custom hinges that pull off the doors for the beach
all emblems turn signals bumperettes are new or cleaned
4 drum brakes are completely new
Has 2 seatbelts up front and 4 lapbelts in the rear
