Soft top coming out tiger channel while driving

Tapping the channel down is probably the easiest to try. I've never seen a w/s channel like that. It looks like someone hack welded it to the frame. There's supposed to be threaded holes across the top of the w/s frame to mount a channel. The fj40 top had a bead sewn into the frt of the top and it slid into the w/s frame channel from the side. Best Top offered a channel to attach to the frame with a slot in it similar to a jeep top. . The top had a plastic strip seen inti the frt of the top that slides into the channels slot. Your configuration is similar to bestops but with a lot of weirdness going on. Below is a pic of a FJ40/Kayline channel, which probably won't work because you don't have enuff material.

Oh yes I see that. I'm not even sure what Brand of soft top I have. It came with it so I don't even know there's no tags or anything anywhere. Yeah I had no idea if that rail what stock or something added, but since it was a fj43 and never shipped to the US, I figured it had a chance to possibly be stock and not hacked up. So I have no idea. I'll go by what you said though.
