I am currently working on the SOA & shackle reversal on my 1969 FJ40. I used Ruff Stuff spring perches under OME 2.5" springs with 2 leafs removed. I have the pinion at 8 degrees and my shackles are at 22 degrees with the vehicle weight loaded. I'm getting ready to set the caster angle to 5 degrees but am going to use 6 shooter knuckles. I have shim packs but I don't have the centering tool. They are anywhere from $250-$750 on line. Wondering if anyone has one sitting around they are willing to rent or sell?

Might want to check the Hardcore Corner with those guys or I believe there are instructions on Pirate for how to build a centering tool yourself. Looks like you’ve probably got the skill to do it

There used to be someone on here that you could rent it from but it’s been I while since I have seen that thread.
They would ship it out. It seemed to be traveling all over the place maybe search for the old thread. Try local Cruiser club I was able to borrow one from my local cruiser club.
