Also, mud had 3 new members when the GB was started haha now they have about 8 new members thans to the group buy! lol

I would be afraid the CCFL rings will be cop bait. I want my setup to look as close to a factory setup as possible. Only BMWs and expensive sports cars have leds and I'm afraid it would draw too much attentionThe oem DRL's? The DRL will not be in the way of the projector! Also what did everyone end up ordering?
I got the stage III morimoto H1 kit with CCFL and the XB35 bulbs...not sure if that will be too much light

Yep, just purchased the stage III set with the 9006 adapter plate, 35W ballasts, XB35 5000k bulbs, CCFL Angel Eyes, mini Gatling gun shrouds, the 9006 wiring harness, and of course the glue. Thanks again for all of the work to put together this buy. I really look forward to the extra light!

I can guarantee that at least out here most cops don't know the difference. Anyways aren't TLCs and LXs considered high end where you live? There are like 4 driving around my little town.

All you new mwmbers need to buy Land Cruisers too. 
I read through the thread and am interested in purchasing the projectors. I have the 55w kit from DDM. Is anyone using the existing DDM equipment and just buying the projectors? Didn't see that anywhere in the thread unless I missed it...
ya a lot are I think. I am using the 55w ddm ballasts and harness, but bought new XB35 bulbs. YOu have to have H1 bulbs to fit in the projector, so you will need new bulbs regardless.

Lots of us were! I suggest buying the bulbs from TRS to save shipping or DDM so you can save your warranty!
I myself was going to use the DDM 55w kit, but decided to go for the full morimoto kit!Hurry and purchase! haha You know you want to be part of the first wave 100 series retrofit crew
We might need to start a retrofit sub forum here on mud! lol cmon woody!
I'm using my DDM ballast, but had to buy new bulbs for the new H1 size.
There is an adapter plate for the 9006 bulb which is what I "think" I ordered from DDM. Would that work with the DDM bulbs or do I have to order new H1 bulbs?
You have to order new H1 bulbs. The adapter plate is to mount the projector in the the stock 9006 hole.
Thanks. From the folks that have ordered new bulbs and not gone the XB35 route, what is the preferred color choice? I went 5000K last time and think that is too blue.
4300k is what most factory vehicle HID setups use.
