I've 'volunteered' the SoCal80's gang to man or help man a checkpoint for the poker run. Stan and I have done this in past years and have had a blast seeing all the people and rigs as they go past. Personally I think this is more fun than doing the run itself.

Who's in? It'd be nice to have 4-5 of us.

This is my first trip to SnT, so just let me know what i need to do and where to go.

Awesome - usually Jim asks us to meet at main camp around 10ish on Saturday morning I think.

As much fun as it is and needing several people at a checkpoint, since this is your first, and SnT's last, you may want to reconsider and actually do the poker run to 'visit' all the dunes area. It is a blast. Remember, you are not lost in the dunes - you are just exploring!!! :steer:

I've just done several since my first SnT in 2004 and enjoy seeing everyone and their rigs at one of the checkpoints now.
